Lights, fans, blinds and TVs work by hand or by remote. Talking to Ziggy is always optional.

He speaks up for your welcome, then stays quiet. The voice assistants respond to their wake word and nothing else.
No cameras inside
Exterior cameras cover the parking area and front doors. Noise sensors measure sound levels only and never record audio.

It is a perfect home away from home! You can cook all your meals if you want or drive to one of the many restaurants within minutes.
The home was clean and ready to relax in both times we’ve stayed here. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

The Ranch sits on Youngstown’s quiet South Side, a short walk from the stand where Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream started in 1945. It’s also an easy overnight stop between the East Coast and the Midwest.
